Movies

My favorite movie is probably The Woman in Black. I absolutely love it. It's about evil, vengeful spirits. The lead part is played by Daniel Radcliffe. I really love horror movies because I find them fascinating. This specific one appeals to me because I find the plot very entertaining. A woman taking her revenge on children is so new and different, it captivates my attention and keeps me on the edge of my seat.

World Peace

What is world peace? In my opinion, I don’t think that it exists. However, the definition of world peace to me is a state of no fighting in the world, with everybody getting along.

I don’t think world peace is possible. There will always be people who disagree, or nasty people who just want to watch others suffer. I wish it could happen, but I honestly doubt it ever will.

To achieve world peace, the evil people in the world would need to be exterminated. I would be willing to try and get along with more people if they also try.

Community Service

I enjoy doing community service. I work at a barn volunteering with disabled children. I help take care of the horses (cleaning stalls, grooming horses, feeding, changing water buckets, etc.) and I also help with therapeutic lessons for the kids. Many of them have Down's Syndrome, autism, or cerebral palsy. Through therapy of riding, they have improved in speech, muscle control, and many other aspects. I'm proud to say that I've helped these children. It has influenced my personal brand because it has made me more patient and kind.

Accomplishments

Accomplishments. Everybody has at least one. I haven't received any academic awards, but I have won trophies and achieved other things. When I was younger, I used to ride horses competitively. I've won a trophy, three first-place ribbons, six second-place ribbons, and two second-place-champion ribbons. I've also received my certificate in beginner open water scuba diving. This had aided my personal brand because I work harder to achieve things like this.

Future

Where do I see myself in the future? Well, in three years, I see myself in a decent college. I'd like to study criminal psychology. I hope to have traveled quite a bit by then. I'd like to maybe have a nice relationship. I think all of this will have a good influence on my brand statement because I will be neat and organized.

Literature/Books

My favorite book is the Harry Potter series. The books revolve around Harry Potter, an orphan whose parents were killed by the Dark Lord Voldemort. The evil wizard tried to kill Harry, but couldn't because his mother sacrificed herself for her son. At the age of eleven, Harry discovers that he is a wizard, living within the ordinary world of non-magical (Muggle) people. His ability is inborn and such children are invited to attend a school that teaches the necessary skills to succeed in the wizarding world. Harry becomes a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and it's here where most of the books' events take place. As Harry develops through his adolescence, he learns to overcome the problems that face him: magical, social, and emotional, including ordinary teenage challenges such as friendships and exams, and the greater test of preparing himself for the confrontation that lies ahead.

Since I was a child, I loved this book. I truly believe that it has influenced me to make me the person that I am today.

Caine's Arcade

Caine Monroy is a young boy in LA who set up an elaborate cardboard arcade in his father's used auto parts shop. He had no customers until a journalist came in and saw it. He then asked if he could do a story on it. He created an event on Facebook and invited all his friends and put the story on Reddit and a local LA website. People planned to do a flash mob at Caine's arcade. The internet was a huge advantage to this event because it let many people know of it. There could be a disadvantage, however. Creepy people could see it and show up and be creepy. The Internet can further my brand a lot because through Twitter, Blogspot, and About.me, I can let many people know of my brand.

Secrets

http://www.ted.com/talks/frank_warren_half_a_million_secrets.html

In this video, a man tells just a few of the half million secrets he has received. Many of those secrets stuck out to me, but there were two main ones. One of those secrets was from a Starbucks employee who gave rude customers decaf. The other was an unused suicide letter in an envelope, mailed to the man.

I found the Starbucks secret really funny. I always make sure I'm polite to people and I can't stand it when people are rude, so I find this a brilliant way to get back in a subtle way. The suicide secret affected me a lot because it showed that someone was at that low point and managed to rise above it all to become happy again.

Three Inspirational Quotes

1. "I know how it feels to be completely alone and helpless, and the last thing you want to hear in that situation is, 'It's going to be OK.' "The only thing that seems to really help is that someone else who has felt that low expressing those feelings to you." - Amy Lee

2. "As a woman I feel offended because these artists portray women as people that can only do well in the world by selling their bodies. I'm determined to help prove that to be false." - Amy Lee

3. "If all we ever sang about was how happy we are, we would be lying to ourselves. People try to escape their problems by getting drunk, partying and dancing them away. What really heals me is to sit down and think, face the facts, then you can get over it and be happy." - Amy Lee

1. I love this quote because I feel that it's so true. Sometimes, hearing not that it's going to be ok, and instead talking about your feelings with somebody who understands works wonders.

2. I agree a lot with this quote. In today's society, women are depicted as skinny, beautiful, with tight stomachs, perfect legs, and flawless skin. Amy Lee is a little bit overweight and I think she's beautiful. She's trying to prove to people that you don't need to look like the girls in the media to be beautiful, and to me, this is one of the most inspirational things out there.

3. I love this quote so much because I can really emphasize with it. In my opinion, people deal with their problems in the wrong way - drinking, smoking, drugs, etc. I think it's a lot more efficient to sit down and think about them.
